I reached for the extra strength head pain medicine and I wondered what we did before there was extra strength medication. At some point, someone decided, I think we can do better. I think we can bring more to the table. There are going to be times when somebody is going to need some extra!

Have you ever wondered how medication knows where to go to do the most good? Like how does migraine medication know you need it to go to work easing pain in your head? I think it has something to do with how God designed our bodies. Every part of our body is made to work in harmony together. And when one part of our body is in pain…every other part of our body is on notice and working to try to relieve and heal what is hurting us.

Such is the body of Christ. When one of us is hurting God’s design for us was to be alert to the pain in each other and work together to help relieve and heal. 1 Corinthians 12:26-27 teach us to be mindful of one another. “If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.”

We can’t do everything on our own. We were never designed to live that way. We need the extra strength of one another.
