God sees you. When you are standing up and standing out for His purposes, He is directing your steps, helping you to walk on solid ground. And especially when you are feeling bereft of courage, wanting to isolate yourself or remain isolated, and even when you are feeling very short on hope, God is with you and He is FOR you.

In every moment, every emotion and situation, you and I have a choice. It might not seem like the choice to trust in God will be a prosperous one. You clearly cannot see a way out. But God! Putting our trust in Him, despite the way we feel or the way things look, is always, every single time, the best choice and the best next step.

Take in what the Psalmist said of God and then declared to himself in Psalm 116: 6-8 (MSG). “God takes the side of the helpless; when I was at the end of my rope, He saved me. I said to myself, ‘Relax and rest. God has showered you with blessings. Soul, you’ve been rescued from death; eye, you’ve been rescued from tears; and you, foot, were kept from stumbling.'”

Regardless of circumstances, remembering the goodness of God to us in the past, and choosing to trust Him with our present and our future, is what God’s Word tells us to do. That very thing you are wrestling with right now… give it to God. He is on your side and He will save you!
